After eight years in Formentera, we’re returning to our roots, reconnecting with our origins on one of the world’s most beautiful islands. Yes, we’ll still offer the chance to (re)discover Formentera for a good cause, but this time without the crowds, and with plenty of music, beer, gastronomy, and positive impact.
If you’ve been before, get ready for so many surprises that it’ll feel like your first time all over again.

Since our beginnings in 2017, we’ve supported a festival model crafted by and for non-conformists—those who respect the environment, promote responsible tourism, and actively protect Posidonia through both action and awareness. We’re a festival for people who typically avoid festivals.

We believe in local and indigenous resources, working closely with local partners and artisans. The magic of Formentera captivates us, and we invite you to join us in (re)discovering it through the eyes of a group of Galicians deeply in love with this unparalleled paradise.
Planet
Since 2017, SON Estrella Galicia Posidonia has partnered with the Save Posidonia Project to protect Posidonia oceanica (Neptune grass) and the island’s biodiversity while promoting responsible tourism. But as true non-conformists, we wake up every morning striving to do things better. That’s why, since 2021, we’ve been a zero-emissions event, achieving one of our dreams in 2023: becoming the only festival in the world certified as TRUE Zero Waste Platinum.

As we return to our roots, the gastronomic experience, curated by a Michelin-starred chef, will pay sensory tribute to the finest Mediterranean flavours. And, as true Galicians, we won’t forget to include a taste of our homeland.
